In episode six of The Blind Spot podcast, Junseth and Izzy chat NFTs, apocalypse bunkers and beanie babies with the amazing Simon Denny. For those who don’t know, Denny is a contemporary artist based in Berlin, who makes sculptures and installations based around technological themes. Denny’s subject matter has included the redesign of the New Zealand passport, German technology conferences and internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom. In November 2015 his solo exhibition Products for Organising opened at the Serpentine Gallery in London. Other installations have centred around blockchain themes and featured the characters of Vitalik Buterin, Blythe Masters and Balaji Srinivasan.

In July, 2019, Denny presented Satoshi claimant Craig Wright with a duplicate of a crypto kitty live on stage at the FT’s Vaudeville production.

Also on the show, Junseth reveals that he is the “but for” inventor of NFTs because of his role in popularising the rare Pepe NFT on his previous show Bitcoin Uncensored. And Izzy reveals her mum’s match collection from the 1980s.
